On 23 September 1933, these airmail stamps were issued to commemorate the 50th ocean crossing of LZ-127, Graf Zeppelin, to the 1933 World’s Fair in Chicago.
The stamps are MiNr. 423-424 and 455 with an overprinted inscription “Chicagofahrt Weltausstellung 1933” (Chicago Flight World’s Fair 1933).
