This series was issued beginning 20 September 1928. The stamps feature LZ-127, the Graf Zeppelin.
MiNr. 424 also exists with vertical watermark (2 X), but is very rare.
A 1 Mark value (MiNr. 455) was later produced, and is commonly grouped with these issues as a set.
These issues can be found overprinted in the Südamerikafahrt, Polarfahrt, and Chicagofahrt sets.
