In May 1944, the Third Reich issued this series to support the Comradeship of German Post Offices.
These stamps depict:
- 6+9 Pf — letter carrier
- 8+12 Pf — old mail coach
- 12+18 Pf — mail clerk
- 16+24 Pf — cross country driving
- 20+30 Pf — postal guards
- 24+36 Pf — glider workshop
These particular copies of MiNr. 891 both contain a plate flaw:
MiNr. 891 II has a dark mark in the upper frame (plate flaw II), a plate flaw which is found in position 37 of some, but not all, sheets.

MiNr. 891 III has a dot over the second “e” in “Deutshes” (plate flaw III), a plate flaw which is found in position 20 of some, but not all, sheets.

Several of these issues use photos previously seen in the earlier Comradeship issues of 15 September 1939 and 19 May 1941, but with different values, a smaller size, and color changes.
