Comeradeship of German Post Offices

This series was issued on 19 May 1941 to support the Comradeship of German Post Offices.

These stamps depict:

  • 6+9 Pf — Junior Camp, Zessen
  • 8+12 Pf — proficiency competition
  • 12+18 Pf — cross country driving
  • 16+24 Pf — postal guards
  • 20+30 Pf — glider workshop
  • 24+36 Pf — old mail coach

Several of these issues use designs which previously appeared in the 15 September 1939 Comradeship issues, and which would later appear in the May 1944 Comradeship issues, but with different values, sizes, and color changes.

The “x” varieties have vertically rippled gum, and the “y” varieties have horizontally rippled gum.
