In 1941-1942, the NDH issued this series featuring Croatian landscapes.

The stamps depict:

  • MiNr. 47 — Castle Ozalj in Karlovac
  • MiNr. 48 — Pliva Waterfall
  • MiNr. 49 — Varaždin
  • MiNr. 50 — Velebit Massif
  • MiNr. 51 — Zelenjak
  • MiNr. 52 — Zagreb Cathedral
  • MiNr. 53 — Osijek Church
  • MiNr. 54 — Drina River
  • MiNr. 55 — Konjic, Herzegovina
  • MiNr. 56 — New Zemun
  • MiNr. 57 — Dubrovnik
  • MiNr. 58 — Lanscape on the Save
  • MiNr. 59 — Beg Mosque in Sarajevo
  • MiNr. 60 — Plitvice Lakes
  • MiNr. 61 — Klis Fortress
  • MiNr. 62 — Port of Hvar
  • MiNr. 63 — Syrmien Girl with Crops
  • MiNr. 64 — Senj with Old Nehaj Festival
  • MiNr. 65 — Banja Luka

The “u” values have normal paper, the “x” values have Pelure paper, and the “y” values have porous paper.

Engraver’s marks exist on MiNr. 41 (position 48) and MiNr. 47 (position 43 and 58).

MiNr. 47 I Engraver’s Mark

The 1941 printings of the Landscapes issues were printed in sheets of 10×10, with columns 6-10 inverted.  As a result, columns 5 and 6 formed tête-bêche pairs.

The 1942 issues (MiNr. 49, 53, 56, 61, and 65) were not printed in tête-bêche pairs.
