In 1902, Germany issued this series of large-denomination Germanias featuring a switch from “REICHSPOST” inscription to “DEUTSCHES REICH”, still with no watermark. The 2-Mark issue can be distinguished from the following issue (MiNr. 82) by the use of a Gothic font.
