In April 1909, the Neu-Guinea-Zweiglinie (Singapore) resumed operations as the Singapore – Deutsch-Neuguinea Linie using the steamer Manila of the Norddeutscher Lloyd (NDL) shipping line.
Beginning in February 1910, two new cancellers were used — one for mail transported in the Singapore to Deutsch-Neuguinea direction, and the other for the reverse.
The line ran until the outbreak of World War I.
