5-10 Milliarden Inflation Overprints
This set of inflation issues was issued beginning 26-23 November 1923.
The stamps were printed in a combination of rotary (“W”) and flat plate (“P”) methods, with either rouletted perforation (“B”) or K14:14.25 perfs (“A”).
A recurring plate flaw exists across the underlying stamps — a broken (“sprung”) rosette on the left of the design, denoted by the “HT” suffix. This plate flaw can be found at positions 12, 18, 63, & 68 of come printings.
