1898 / 1899 Krone / Adler Overprints
In October 1898, a second printing of German Southwest Africa overprints came into use. The overprint was changed to “Deutsch-Südwestafrika” from the prior overprint “Deutsch-Südwest-Afrika”.
Plate flaws exists on the underlying 3 Pf and 25 Pf stamps.
