Booklet 3 I B
Booklet 3 contains twenty 5 Pf stamps (MiNr. 25) and ten 10 Pf stamps (MiNr. 26).
It can be found in four varieties:
- MH 3 I A — ads on all covers, “C” on front, perf. margin on panes
- MH 3 I B — ads on all covers, “C” on front, no perf. margin on panes
- MH 3 II A — no ads on inside covers, no “C” on front, perf. margin on panes
- MH 3 II B — no ads on inside covers, no “C” on front, no perf. margin on panes
All have five panes of stamps, separated by five advertising dividers:
- three panes (H-Bl. 12) of 6 x 5 Pf
- one pane (H-Bl. 13) of 2 x 5 Pf and 4 x 10 Pf
- one pane (H-Bl. 14) of 6 x 10 Pf
The MH 3 I varieties were issued in mid-1913, and the MH 3 II varieties on 1 June 1914. MH 3 I was only sold at the Philatelic Sales window in Berlin. MH 3 II was sold in German Southwest Africa.
