This series was issued in 1942 to commemorate Stamp Day and the “Kampf dem Bolschewismus” (Fight Against Bolshevism) exhibition at the Hamburg Museum of History, 9-25 January 1942.

The cards depict postage stamps of countries and territories conquered by Germany to that point in WWII.

Commemorative cancels depicting flowers were available at the exhibition.
