The 1904 Deutsches Reich Overprint Envelope is the first of two envelopes released with overprint of the "REICHSPOST" Germania. It features a 10 Para overprint on 5 Pf stamp, in uppercase font with serifs, with “Para” above the numerals.
The size of the envelope as issued was 157mm x 124mm. It exists in watermarked and unwatermarked varieties, with the watermark being a swan, two water lilies, and the text "S&C EXTRAFEIN".
