In late 1944, MiNr. XVIII of the Wapen SS set was overprinted with the word "Langemark" to commemorate the Assault Brigade Langemark.
The Langemark Overprint was also never issued.
Perforate (“A”) and imperforate (“B”) varieties exist, as well as issues with inverted overprints (“K”).
