Marianen Postmarks

The primary postmarks found on items from Marianen are those of the German post offices in Marianen, Marine-Schiffspost postmarks of German naval vessels in Marianen waters, and postmarks of commercial steamers calling on the colony.

Unauthorized postmarks are also known from the island of Rota and from U.S.-controlled Guam.
