Between March 1906 and 1911, Germany issued this set of Germania overprints. They feature ‘Marocco’ in a Fraktur font on stamps that are inscribed ‘DEUTSCHES REICH’ with a watermark.
Germany issued this set of Germania overprints on 1 October 1905. The overprints saw a switch to stamps with a ‘Deutsches Reich’ imprint rather than the previous ‘REICHSPOST’.
This issue is known as the “Eintagsfliege” (mayfly) issue, as it was only sold at the postal counter on its day of issue, 30 September 1905.
In April 1903, Germania issued this set of Germania overprints, a slight variation on the 1900 Germania Overprints.
This set of Germania overprints was issued on 1 October 1900.
The fist set of overprints for use in the German Post offices in Morocco were overprints of the German Krone/Adler issues.
