This series is Third Reich MiNr. P243 (“With Our Flags to Victory”) overprinted for use in German-occupied Lorraine.
The cards were printed at the request of the KdF Sammlergruppen (KdF Stamp Collectors Association). The cards were designed by Axster-Heüdtlass, and were issued on 20 April 1941 to commemorate Hitler’s 52d birthday.
The cards depict units of the German armed forces with colorized flags.
