Sudetendeutsches Niederland

This set of stamps for the Sudetendeutsches Niederland (Sudeten Lowlands) was produced in September 1938, but was never officially issued. The stamps feature a map of the Sudetendeutsches Niederland with the Nazi swastika and the text "befreit durch Adolf Hitler am 22.9.1938" (Liberated by Adolf Hitler on 22 Sep 1938).

Perforate and imperforate varieties exist. Also, even though the stamps were never officially issued, a few genuinely cancelled copies used as additional franking are known to exist.
