The 1922 “Hermes” Postanweisungen deviated from the prevailing Germania stamp design by using a design featuring Hermes. It also features the text “Papierpreiszuschlag 5 Pf” in the empty box next to the stamp design.

The 1919 Postanweisungen saw a switch to higher rates, 15 Pf and 25 Pf. They can also be distinguished from earlier Postanewisungen by differences in the form of the front left tab.
