Generalgouvernement

In August-September 1940, the Generalgouvernement issued its first set of non-overprinted stamps.  These stamps depict buildings of Poland:

  • MiNr 40 — Florian’s Gate, Krakow
  • MiNr 41 — Sandomiersk-Bastion, Krakow Castle
  • MiNr 42 — Krakow Gate, Lublin
  • MiNr 43 — Yard of the Old Krakow University with Copernicus Monument
  • MiNr 44 — Dominican Church, Krakow
  • MiNr 45 — Castle Wawel, Krakow
  • MiNr 46 — Brigitte Church, Lublin
  • MiNr 47 — Sukiennice Arcade, Krakow
  • MiNr 48 — City Hall Tower, Krakow
  • MiNr 49 — Castle courtyard, Krakow
  • MiNr 50 — Mary’s Church, Krakow
  • MiNr 51 — Brühl Palace, Warsaw
