This card was issued on 5 November 1940 to benefit the Winterhilfswerk program.

The stamp design is a hammer and sword. The left side of the card depicts a worker with a hammer and soldier with a rifle, with the inscription “Kampfen Arbeiten Opfern” (Fight, Work, Sacrifice).

Michel recognizes three paper varieties — white to cream-colored (a), chamois satin (b), and brownish carton paper (c). Borek recognizes a fourth — grey-brown (d).
