On 5 November 1935, the Third Reich issued this stamp to commemorate the 12th anniversary of the Nazi Party's failed 1923 attempt to take over the government, commonly known as the Beer Hall Putsch.

The stamps depict an SA stormtrooper in front of the Feldherrnhalle in Munich, Germany.

The "x" values have vertical gum rippling, while the rarer "y" value has horizontal gum rippling.
